Lecturer Background

SU Ning is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Ivey Business School. He obtained his Ph.D. from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Professor SU's research investigates the transformation of global technology value chain, from both clients’ and suppliers’ perspectives. From clients' perspective, he studies innovative service models, such as multisourcing, shared services, and cloud computing; from suppliers' perspective, he studies internationalization and growth of IT service firms. His work also examines how emerging technologies, such as 3D printing, shape value-chain activities. Professor Su’s research involves extensive field studies in financial services, technology, consulting, and creative industries, across major global markets.
