Spring 2015 CLGO Governing Board Meeting

On May 28th, 2015, the CLGO (China Leaders for Global Operations) Governing Board Meeting was held. Deputy Dean Ming Dong of Antai College of Economics and Management, Deputy Dean Nengling Tai of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering College, Deputy Dean Zhenhua Xiong of Machinery and Power Engineering College, and program director professor Xiaorong Chen attended to the meeting.
CLGO-China Leaders For Global Operations is the first full time, interdisciplinary master's degree program (MBA and master of Engineering),jointly sponsored by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Antai College of Economics and Management, Machinery and Power Engineering and Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering College. The project adopts mode of MIT's famed "leaders for global operations (LGO) project, well-known multinational companies and local enterprises support and cooperation. Through the combination of Shanghai Jiaotong University, in the field of engineering and management discipline superiority and characteristics, and strive to create a proficient in project management theory and practice combined with outstanding leadership ability of the global business elite.
During the meeting, Ms. Eva Shen, director of human resources at Honeywell China, introduced the close cooperation between CLGO and Honeywell in recent years. Next, Deputy Dean Zhenhua Xiong, introduced his experience of teaching at CLGO, also gave suggestions for future development. Finally, Professor Thomas Roemer of MIT-LGO introduced the latest development in LGO program including enrollment and student employment status.
