Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) is the No.1 business school in Asia-Pacific in Financial Times' (FT) top-20 business school rankings for the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

The new ranking, released for the first time this year alongside the list for European institutions, is based on the quality and breadth of business schools’ postgraduate programmes, measuring their performance in 2017 FT Rankings for MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management (MiM) and the two rankings for Executive Education.

ACEM tops the inaugural ranking of schools in the Asia-Pacific region, ahead of Ceibs and the National University of Singapore Business School.

ACEM is also the only Asian school that features in all five FT rankings. It performed best in executive education, snatching the first and second places in customised and open-enrolment programmes respectively, with Executive MBA coming in third.

The college's MBA programme, ranked No.34 in the world this year, has seen continued rise for four years in a row and achieved its highest ever scores in faculty and research while maintaining stellar performance in employment and salary increase.

The Master in Management programme, standing at No.32 worldwide in 2017, has also moved up one notch from last year and retained its position among global top 50 for nine consecutive years.

Starting with the Master in Management programme in 2009, and quickly followed by MBA, Executive MBA and Executive Education, ACEM has always insisted on participating in global rankings for both academic and non-degree programmes, and taking the opportunity to review its progress in a range of criteria including international reach, career development and levels of research.

'We are very proud of this recognition which reflected the comprehensive strength of the college,' said Dean Zhou Lin of Antai College.

'The top ranking is a result of the fast economic development of China, of the relentless dedication and effort of all the faculty and staff, and of the long-term support from stakeholders and partners home and abroad.'

'ACEM will continue to strive for excellence and fulfil its vision of building a world-class business school.'
